Malta Short

August, one o'clock, no wind. The Malta is cut for that — slim through the hips and pockets, nothing extra to hold heat. The waistband is bonded rather than sewn, so there's no stack of fabric at the belt line, no seam pressing back at you by the twelfth. A snap closes it. No button to work at with wet hands.

Cooling fabric. Sits flat across the seat, and stays there when you bend to read a putt.
